Delete your account
You can delete your Terrapin Truck GPS account and the data tied to it at any time, in the app or by email.
Delete it in the app
- Open Terrapin Truck GPS and go to Settings.
- Scroll to Account and tap Delete my account.
- Confirm. The app asks you to sign in with Google once more to prove the account is yours, then deletes it.
Or ask us by email
Send a message from the email address on your account to privacy@terrapingps.online with the subject “Delete my account.” We delete the account within 30 days and confirm by reply.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in record (name, email address, and account ID) in Google Firebase Authentication.
- Your bridge fit reports (“Did it fit?” answers) in our database.
- Everything stored on your phone (vehicles, saved places, trips) is removed when you delete the account in the app or uninstall it.
What stays for a short time
- Server request logs, which we keep for up to 30 days for security and troubleshooting and then remove.
- Information Google collects through its own services, such as Google Maps navigation, is governed by Google’s privacy policy and your Google Account settings.
Deleting your account cannot be undone. If you only want to remove your location or microphone access, change those permissions in your phone’s settings instead.
