What we do not do
We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising purposes. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers in the app or on this website, and the website does not set cookies. We do not store a history of your routes on our servers.
Service providers
We use Google Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication and server operations, and Google Maps Platform for maps, routing, and navigation. Google’s privacy policies and applicable service terms also govern its processing of information: Google Privacy Policy and Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service. Cloudflare provides DNS services for our website.
Server logs
Our servers retain standard request logs for security and troubleshooting for up to 30 days. These logs may include the time of a request, the requested address, the response status, and the requesting network address. Our website server maintains similar access logs.
How long we keep information
We retain account information until you request its deletion. Information stored on your device remains there until you clear the app’s data or uninstall it.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by emailing privacy@terrapingps.online. We respond within 45 days. You may manage location, microphone, and notification permissions through Android settings; navigation requires location access. Residents of certain states may have additional privacy rights. We do not discriminate against users for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Children
The app is intended for drivers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
Requests to our servers are encrypted in transit and require authentication. Our server-side map API keys are not exposed to users. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will revise the “Last updated” date. We will notify app users of material changes when appropriate.
